who generously provides this service to the Shelter on a volunteer basis. This page is updated approximately once per week, however, new
animals sometimes arrive on the Adoption Floor every day so you may wish to visit the Shelter in person. You may also wish to visit the following website:
www.petfinder.com This free online service is provided to the Shelter through our friends at Petpoint. While
you may not see photographs of the animals when you visit the Petfinder website, it will provide you with an up-to-date list of the names, ages and breeds of the animals
currently on the P.E.I. Humane Society adoption floor.

 Veejay -
WAIT! I may be barking at you and jumping in my kennel but that’s because I’m frustrated from being at the Shelter so
long waiting for someone to adopt me.
I’m really a smart, happy dog that gets along with EVERYONE. I know how to Sit, Lay Down, and I always come when called.
Ask a Shelter Attendant to take me into the Get Acquainted Park and I’ll show you what a great boy I am.

- I am a collie shepherd mix. My fur is black and brown. I weigh 38 lbs. I was born in February 2004.

a male smooth collie mix. He has solid black medium length fur. He was born in March 2007.

Fargo - a male lab retriever mix. His is solid black and weighs 45 lbs. He was born in April 2007.

 Daisy -
Hi there! My name is DAISY and I am a young-at-heart 11 year-old female Pomeranian mix dog. I was brought to the Shelter
because my owner could no longer care for me, so now I'm looking for my retirement home!
I have lots and lots of little dog energy, and I can't wait to go out for my walks. I really enjoy spending time with people
-- especially if you let me sit on your lap so you can pet my soft, long fur.
A home with another dog would be fine by me, but no small children, please - they make me cranky.
Because I am considered to be a senior dog, I will be adopted at a special senior rate of $95.00.
