Our girl was laid to rest on February 24th, 2009 at the age of 13 years after becoming ill over the last year of her life. Jazz was an
amazing dog, and was loved dearly as part of our family.
We will never forget her no matter how many animals we may have throughout our lives. She will always be the dog that my brother and I grew up with, and that is something
we could never forget or replace.
The funniest memories that we have of Jazz include: her intense love for pizza, her freak-outs upon hearing the word "Tim's!" because she always knew that we were going
to buy her a Timbit, and the time that she picked her own wrapped present out from the under the Christmas tree and started to tear the wrapping off.. she knew it was
hers! There was also one time that she barked and pretended that someone was at the door to get my mom out of the comfy chair.. and when Mom came back Jazz was in
the chair! There was never anyone at the door she just wanted the best spot to lay down! Jazz always loved going out to Rustico to visit "Nanny" too.
Jazz was the friendliest, most cuddly dog that anyone in my family will probably ever have, and no matter how much she barked at strangers, she always liked to show how
much she loved my brother and I and our parents.
I told Jazz on the day that we laid her to rest that someday, somewhere, we would find her and be together again and I truly believe that will happen. I hope that someday
when I have children, I will be able to show them pictures of her, and tell them about what a great dog she was.
Until then Jazz, eat lots of pizza and Timbits, and know that forever you will be our favorite girl. Someday we will be able to play together again :)
