We are more than happy to help support your class learning about animal welfare on PEI
The PEI Humane Society is happy to provide assistance in building curriculum to help students further understand the importance of animal welfare on the Island. We welcome the opportunity to help at any capacity from curriculum development to in-person learning opportunities.
Does your class want to get involved in fundraising for the animals? We can help with that too!
If you are interested in booking a talk with your students or learning more about how you can bring animal welfare into the classroom, please reach out discuss learning options.
Our team happily caters to groups of all ages, both young and old.
We ask all those who inquire about group learning opportunities to understand that our team cannot always bring an animal with them. As our shelter aims to be a Fear Free facility, we do not wish to increase stress and anxiety for the animals we care for. If appropriate, and if we have an animal that would be suitable to join us for your talk, we will make every effort to bring an animal, but this is not always the case. We thank you for your understanding.
