The PEI Humane Society is once again preparing to launch our annual bake sale fundraiser!
The event, previously known as Cupcake & Bake Day, is getting a new boost, as the shelter rebrands it to the PEIHS Annual Bake Sale. This Island-wide bake sale event will take place on March 13th, and will involved bakers both big and small rolling up their sleeves and making a mess for a good cause.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
WE ARE HAVING A BAKE SALE: A series of bake sales are hosted across the province to raise funds for the PEI Humane Society.
You MUST sign up if you want to participate. You can sign up as a baker and drop your baked goods off at the shelter to be sold there, or as an independent fundraiser, where you run your own bake sale at a location of your choosing, or lastly, as a committee member, helping us make this year’s sale as BIG as possible!
ITS HAPPENING MARCH 13th (AND BEYOND):
Though the physical sale will take place at the PEI Humane Society’s Sherwood Rd shelter on March 13th, your fundraiser can take place anytime you want within the month of March. It’s important to let us know when you sign up when your fundraiser is, so we know when to follow up with you.
3 WAYS TO GET INVOLVED:
FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE: In order to make the event bigger than ever before, we need a team of dedicated fundraising committee members to make calls and sign up other bakers. If this sounds like you, send us an email at community@peihumanesociety.com.
BAKERS/INDEPENDENT FUNDRAISERS: If you would like to sign up as a baker or independent fundraiser, we have sign up sheets and information packages available both at the front desk of the shelter (309 Sherwood Rd) and digitally (see links below). We also have cupcake liners and stickers ready to go! We can accept your signup either in-person or via email.

SOCIAL MEDIA: If you’re unable to help as a baker, fundraiser, or committee member this year, don’t worry! You can still be involved by liking and sharing our social media posts about the event as they’re posted.
