This sweet girl, Muffy, came to us as a stray. We don’t know much about her history but from what we can tell, she had a really rough life before she came to the PEI Humane Society. You would never know she had lived a rough life, though! She’s full of love to give and you can’t help but smile when you see her.

She came to us with a broken leg that she has been walking on for some time. We are not sure how long she has had the injury, but she doesn’t seem to be in any pain at the moment. She can put limited weight on the leg but it is causing her problems in her mobility and could put her at risk of other issues in the future.

We don’t want to see her suffer any longer, so we have consulted with our veterinarian and have decided the best thing to do is to remove the leg. Three-legged cats live extremely successful lives. And with Muffy’s sweet, loving personality, she will have no problems adjusting to life as a tripod.
