The Walk of Paws is part of the Expanding our Paw Print capital project being undertaken by the PEI Humane Society.
This portion of the project will see a monument and memorial garden built on the grounds at the PEI Humane Society. The garden and monument will be used as a space to remember lost pets and those for whom pets were a special part of their lives. Each contributor to the Walk of Paws project will have a memorial plaque placed on the monument in memory of a beloved family member, friend,
or pet.
The Walk of Paws will be among the final aspects of the Expanding our Paw Print capital project to be constructed as it is a landscaping project. For this reason, we do not expect the monument to be finalized until the construction of the new shelter facility is fully complete. Once we enter the landscaping phase of the project, we will provide our contributors with information about the project as new developments arise.
The Walk of Paws
There are two sizes of plaque available (see samples included):
– $250 plaque: Smaller size (approx. 3” x 8”). Includes name of honoree and one line of text or quote (max. 18 characters).
– $500 plaque: Larger size (approx. 5” x 8”). Includes name of honoree, and two lines of text.
**An additional $50 contribution to the $500 plaque will include an image or logo of your choosing, or a PEIHS heart as demonstrated in the samples
provided. Custom images are subject to management approval.
