We adopted Heidi (formerly Griffen) for my grandfather through the Seniors for Seniors program, and I know that both of their lives have improved so much since meeting each other.
Heidi sleeps on his pillow every night and sits on his lap everyday while they watch TV (Heidi’s version of TV is watching birds outside the window). She comes when he calls and is never too far away. We have noticed a big change in his mood since we adopted Heidi- they are inseparable!
